Passengers flying with the airline will soon access quick connectivity in the air at no cost after a new partnership from SpaceX's space firm.
No-cost and Fast Wifi Available to Everyone
The carrier stated that this free, “quick and reliable” connectivity provision via the satellite provider becomes offered to travelers flying coach, premium economy, and premium cabins starting soon.
Expanded Deployment Throughout Various Airlines
The umbrella organization of BA, IAG, announced it had secured an partnership with SpaceX to offer connectivity coverage across 500-plus planes within their carriers, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and Vueling.
Uninterrupted Internet from Gate through Landing
British Airways noted that this introduction for this service was included in a £7bn “transformation” initiative and will deliver uninterrupted wifi access to travelers from the gate to arrival, including when traveling above seas and isolated areas.

Restricted internet access is currently available to BA passengers on nearly all of the airline's jets using its .air system.
