Real Madrid's winger Issues Regret to Real Madrid Supporters

Vinicius Jr in action

The forward has netted 5 finishes in ten domestic competition matches this season.

Los Merengues forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to the fanbase for his reaction when substituted in Sunday's heated match against Barcelona triumph.

He was replaced in the second half and displayed his frustration by heading directly off the pitch.

He later returned to the sidelines and, following his team's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach the opposition's opposing player during contentious final whistle scenes.

"Now I want to apologise to all the Madridistas for my response when I was replaced in the big match," Vinicius shared on X.

"In the same way as I have already done during the latest practice, I would like to say sorry once more to my colleagues, the club, and the president.

"Occasionally fervor takes over me because I constantly desire to triumph and help my team. My winning mentality comes from the love I have for this team and all it stands for."

He joined Real from his former club in recent years for a significant fee and has scored triple figures in 335 appearances.

But his future in the Madrid is far from certain with rumors in the past few months stating that Los Blancos would contemplate permitting the 25-year-old depart if they were to receive a suitable offer.

When he was replaced on the match day, cameras from broadcaster the platform captured him stating: "Always me! I'm departing the side! It's better if I depart, I'm moving on."

In his new message on X, he stated: "I promise to keep fighting every second for the welfare of the club, as I have done since the first day."
